PLC (Programmable
Logic Control) Conversions
Older machines designed with "relay logic",
(machines controlled by relays) are not obsolete. These machines
can be converted to operate with a PLC, which takes the place of
relays and miles of wiring. |

Troubleshooting will become child's play. Downtime can be reduced
incredibly. No more need to keep various relays, contactors, fuses,
etc., in stock, waiting for the next aggravating beckon from the machine
operator.
PLC's are programmed and designed to give feedback telling you exactly what
is wrong with the machine.

Operation of your machine, under the control of the PLC, is easily
manipulated by an electronic interface. Gone is the panel of buttons,
gauges, and controllers. From screens like these, one
can control and monitor an entire packaging machine. It handles
preheating, calibration, cycling, troubleshooting and many other features.
The interface is quickly learned, very informative, and much more
powerful than the previous forms of machine control.

Touch Screen
technology has recently become the control method of choice with PLC conversions.
Due to decreasing costs, the gap has been narrowed in the decision between
touch screen and standard hard-coded controls.
The interface can be custom
programmed to meet each customer's needs and desires individually.
Instead of having to learn hard coded procedures, we can teach the control what makes
sense to you. |
